Um It's August? (almost)

I can't believe August is knocking at our door. It is incredible how quickly July seemed to just fly by. Before we know it the summer will be over. I happen to LOVE summertime. I really enjoy the long days and looking outside at 9:00pm (if I'm not already sleeping) and still being able to see the sun. This summer in Cincinnati has been a hot one (said like Randy Jackson), but it has been very enjoyable.

Speaking of Randy Jackson and totally random I hear there are a lot of changes coming on American Idol this season. Ellen has quit the show and it sounds like Kara is leaving as well. I hear their replacements will be Steven Tyler and J. Lo...thoughts anyone? I knew the show wouldn't be the same once Simon left. I wonder if this will be it's last season.

Anyway, back to summer. Love love love SUMMER. My next favorite season(s) is a tie. Spring and Fall, not to warm not to cold. I really like fall clothes and colors and I love seeing the leaves change colors. For the spring, I like those colors too and seeing the leaves turn green and flowers grow. Hopefully next spring the seeds I so lovingly planted this year will grow :) I have been anxiously awaiting my daisies but so far I see little green petals. Sean says they are weeds but my hopes are still high. I'm sure next week Daisey's will be upon us.

I am not by any means trying to rush through the summer time but I am looking forward all the exciting things left to come this year.
