Hello, my name is Paaras

Hello!! My name is Paaras and I live in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have been contemplating starting a blog for a long time and I decided today was the day to do it. I am very blessed to have wonderful family and friends that fill my life with joy and happiness. I am looking forward to sharing some aspects of our lives with you.

Today I sat down to start my blog and in true Paaras fashion I sat wide eyed at the computer ready to go. I am not always the must technologically savvy person so I was excited to see how simple it was to get one started. I quickly came to the page that asked me to create a display name and was stuck on that page for hours. What a hard decision....one set of words to describe my blog. I reached out to friends and family to get some ideas and finally decided to go with womP womP and an url containing the words haPPy gurya. Urdu is my native language and Gurya means doll. My husband calls me gurya when I am behaving nicely :)

I decided on womP womP because it is a phrase I often use to express how I feel and even more often to shrug things off. I am a true believer that life is what you make it and try to start and end my days with happy feelings. womP womP is a great way to rid of all things not happy. For example, while I was going through the process of naming my blog, I got stuck in the bathroom stall at work. After struggling for a few minutes, I said womP womP, laughed out loud, took a deep breathe and tried tried again. I realized that this was my sign to name this blog womP womP.
